The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has just awarded the 2015 Ford Mustang with its highest honor – a five-star rating. It achieved the same score for both front and side impact protection, as well as rollover protection.
It also comes packed with the latest and most modern of active (semi-autonomous) and passive safety features adding to the final score too.
