Who Can Rent a Car?
Renter’s age: 22 to 70 years old
Driving experience: Minimum of 2 years
Mandatory deposit: Payable at the time of rental
What Documents Are Required?You will need only two documents to rent a car in Armenia:
Passport
Driver’s license (either a national license recognized by the 1968 Vienna Convention, or an international driving permit accompanied by the national license)
Please ensure that both documents:
Are available in original form (copies and scans are not accepted);
Are valid (not expired);
Have not been extended electronically (especially for driving licenses).
For Russian citizens: both domestic and international passports are accepted.For Armenian citizens: ID cards are also accepted.For citizens of other countries: a valid international passport is required.
