More exactly the models will retain their names, but will get additional digital indexes.

The German producer announced a new naming system for its models – the old name will obtain two-figured digital index in which the car power index will be encoded. By the way, the flagship sedan Audi A8 of the next generation will be the first to get its new name.  The maximum foreseen index is still “70”.
