Hyundai Company has spread a teaser of the new Ioniq model, which can compete for the Toyota Prius buyers. The European premiere will take place in March, 2016 at the Geneva Auto Show and the North-American one – in April at the New York Motor Show.

Hyundai Ioniq will share the same platform with the Kia Niro crossover. 

Hundai Ioniq will get a fully electrical version of the lithium-ionic high-capacity accumulator, and, also a petrol-electrical modification with a battery recharge possibility from the simple power grid. Moreover, the model will also have a hybrid variation.
