Volvo recently unveiled a new concept for a child car seat putting the safety of kids travel in the car above all. 
The baby car seat is fixed on a swiveling platform next to driver’s seat which can be locked in place to face the rear of the car, and the arrangement allows a person sitting in the backseat to look at and entertain a strapped-in youngster sitting in the front. This conceptual configuration could be safe in this particular car, as the front air bag would be switched off.
The platform on which the car seat is fixed represents also a kind of storage than can fit all the vital child accessories, such as nappies, bottles, wipes, toys and so on.
