Ford knows everyone who breaks the law thanks to GPS in the cars 27.01.2014

Ford's Global VP/Marketing and Sales, Jim Farley, during a panel discussion about data privacy at CES, said that because of the GPS units installed in Ford vehicles, Ford knew when many of its drivers were speeding, and where they were while they were doing it. Nevertheless, he added that Ford used very little part of those data in order to avoid raising privacy concerns.
Rather, this kind of information has its advantage and might be used anonymously in aggregate to help other marketers with traffic related problems. However, nobody can guarantee the anonymous issue.
